June 2nd, 2009 — Katy’s 4th Birthday
Created and compiled by “Beffie” (Katy’s adopted Big Sister)
April 25 - May 4:
National Kids Safety Week
For the Month of May, we ask that you place special attention over and above your normal awareness in recognition of National Kids Safety Week. Studies show a significant spike in the number of overall accidents, especially drowning, during the summer months from May through August. This is the time we must be evermore vigilant for their safety, for their well-being, for our children’s lives. Check out Safe Kids USA for more information or contact us for a personal presentation for your group.
Child Safety
Where your child’s safety is concerned, there is no substitute for constant adult supervision. Unfortunately, constant supervision simply is not always possible, especially in situations where there is more than one child to watch. All too often a moment’s inattention costs a child his or her life. We know this all too well and now must live with the result. We hope that through this website, you may find tips and resources that will reduce the risk to a level that affords you the greatest level of safety, while allowing you and your child to enjoy the world God has given us.
